Your source for greate Windows Programming tools
Since 1981, the mission of the C/C++ Users Group (CUG) has been
focused on low-cost distribution shareware and freeware C/C++ source
code. The C/C++ Users Group is an independent organization sponsored by
C/C++ Users Journal which is impartial
to compiler vendors or platforms. Though the majority of volumes
primarily support MS-DOS, CUG focuses heavily on cross-platform
compatability with Unix, MS Windows, and others.
My mission is to grow the library in both quality and quantity. I
invite you to become a member in our informal band and nominate
volumes for inclusion or submit your own (send email to
Victor R. Volkman). Please
help CUG uphold the ethic of sharing C/C++ code as freely as possible.
Although the initial emphasis was on distributing via diskettes, CUG has
now shifted to CD-ROM as its only distribution mechanism. One CD-ROM
volume gives you instant access to more than 300 volumes of C/C++ source
for many applications and platforms.
Maintenance of the CUG CD-ROM is underwritten by the C/C++ Users
Journal and it is physically manufactured by Walnut Creek CD-ROM.
You can purchase a copy from your nearest CD-ROM distributor

CUG is interested in ALL user supported C and C++ source code on ALL
platforms. Programs need not be new and unique, nor massive, to be
useful to other members. Many times even minor modifications of
existing library programs are important to other members, especially if
the modifications improve the portability of the code.
To qualify for inclusion in CUG, your program or library must meet the
following criteria:
- Program must include C/C++ source code (or make available for a
small registration fee)
- Author must return a signed CUG Author's Release
Form (in case of multiple authors, only one need sign and return)
by postal mail or fax.
As a small token of our thanks for your submission, you will receive a
FREE copy of the CUG CD-ROM
Popular submission categories include (but are not limited to!):
- Function or Class libraries
- Compilers
- Text formatters
- BBS
- Games
- Math Packages
- Cross-assemblers and compilers
- Communications Libraries
- Interpreters
- Tutorials
- More!
Genitor Corp. steps forward to sponsor CUG
In order to continue the 15 year mission of the C/C++ Users Group, this
website must have its cost underwritten by a sponsor. We are most
fortunate to have the support of the Genitor Corporation committed for
the entire 1997 calendar year! Please show your support by visiting our sponsor today and see their object
construction suite for programming workgroups.
This is your invitation to join the CUG, there's no obligation and no
cost. Simply fill out the survey below and you'll receive periodic
email announcements about "What's New at CUG" three to four times per
year. These responses will help CUG determine how to best serve you and
survey summary information will be posted when enough have been
submitted. Naturally, you can unsubscribe at any time. Thanks for your
interest.
